While every TDA’s fifth wheel design provides a level of manueverability and positionability just not found in other aerials, LTC has refined its TDA design over decades with customer feedback.

  • Today, LTC 100′ and 105′ TDAs are designed for departments that call for a compact, highly maneuverable design, lots of equipment and ladder storage, a narrow stabilizer spread and excellent visibility. With lengths as short as 55’3″, and wheelbases starting at 140″ (3.6 m) the LTC TDA provides advantages you can truly appreciate.

    • Climbability – Wide steps and high handrails are known for making the climb easier.  All-steel construction with sections that are trussed vertically, with k-bracing for each rung, provides an extra solid stepping experience.
    • Excellent visibility – The tiller cab features a rounded windshield and rear-set A pillars.
    • A narrow stabilizer spread lets you set up in narrow streets and alleys.
